I drafted a series for the new believers we had that would explain the foundations of the faith. These outlines became core cirriculum in our discipleship groups. Recently I was contacted for the electronic copy of those outlines and rolled them up into a single pdf which is free for downloading here

They are written from a strict Calvary Chapel perspective and thus contain Pastor Chuck quotes and various CC’isms. These are not technical outlines and not created with any intent to be exhaustive. Strictly these are a high level fly-over to help get new believers or disciples grounded in the basics of knowing what our church believes and why.
There you have it – feel free to download and use them if you like for personal or church use. Please do not re-post with out my permission, but you may certainly link to the document which is my preference as I may be updating it.
I should have added in here that these outlines are not very well done for ’self-study’ for a new believer. They are written for a group leader who is solid in his/her beliefs.
Hi Jim,
Thanks for offering new believers some resources to grow in their walk. Getting people in the Word is the most important habit for new believers to develop. But unfortunately, so many people don’t read anymore. Would you be interested in offering audio Bible downloads from your blog?

Hello Jon and thanks for commenting. Biblical illiteracy is becoming a huge problem even amongst quote unquote Bible teachers.
I do have mp3 downloads in the Resources page. I looked at the site you represent thanks for pointing me in that direction. I will add it to the resources here (and facebook) and perhaps a banner as well.
Thanks again!
Jim
Thanks Jim! You are right; 70% of believers have never even read the New Testament, some of which are the most committed to church life and activity. Every thing people can do to encourage Bible engagement is important. Thank you.
Blessings!
Jon
